I mean, the actual... teeth being pulled was... I was anesthetized, so I didn't feel a thing. Twenty minutes for me went by in thirty seconds. I woke up extremely groggy, with four less teeth and gauze in my mouth. Also, I immediately vomited pure blood.

Tuesday is a blur for me, lots of lying down on the couch and meh. I don't really remember the last few days, but I was in so much pain that I haven't been on my computer in days. I usually don't miss this much computer time. Unfortunately, I don't have much to talk about.

I'm still in a lot of pain. I stopped taking the Percoset (a mixture of oxycodone and acetaminophen) on Wednesday, but the withdrawal symptoms ended up being a lot worse (shows why oxycodone is so addictive to some people). I didn't give in and I think most of the withdrawal symptoms are wearing off. However, my mouth is still in a huge amount of pain. I've tried to take Tylenol which works... somewhat. Nowhere near as long as the Percoset did, but at least the pain goes away for a few hours.

However, the inside of my cheek feels fat... I think it's swelling. My mom thinks it's infected. I don't know what to think. I'm also taking Penicillin to combat infection, but I'm afraid it's not working.

Gahhh, I'm worried about my mouth.

Blog: 01-04-10

Today rocked. I'm currently looking in the Toronto area. Please hire m- Anyway, at this call centre, we're open seven days a week, and SUNDAY IS ONE OF THOSE DAYS. Naturally, our customers have a problem with this.

Don't get me wrong, I sympathize with them, but I'm only doing my job. I don't decide who I call, the software program gives it to me, and it gives it to me the second the customer answers the phone, meaning I have between 0.5-1.5 seconds to read their name, learn how to pronounce it and say it with a polite-sounding voice. And yes, I have problems with a lot more names than you may think.

There was an unusual amount of people complaining about it being Sunday. I usually get between 1-2 per Sunday, but today I got TEN. *le sigh* I think I just might try to switch my shift to Saturday (we are required to work at least Saturday or Sunday).

Other news... job search. Desperately trying to find a job in television... or film, even. Film would be good too, although it's a bit more temporary than television. Less full-time work, I think. Well, not so much that as less job security... I think.

I might be buying a camera soon, because I think the best way to get a job might be to build a portfolio of something. A DVD I could hand off to an employer might be better than just a name and a resume.

Anyway, till next time.

What's all this then?

Oh boy, a blog.

You've seen them before. Incessant postings by some random individual who believes they have a say in what goes on in the world. That their little voice among 6.8 billion is somehow worth something. Indeed, many people do this in many fashions, such as voting, where, at least where I live (Canada, North America), voter turnout is dangerously low. The fact of the matter is, most elections are separated by thousands upon thousands of votes (save for several ridings/districts). One vote usually does not make a difference. Same with voices, or blogging. Most blogs go completely unread outside of the blogger's close friends or family. The lack of posting usually results in the blogger's decreased posting frequency and/or complete forget of the blog. I know, I had a blog before, which was read by exactly one person.

So, you're obviously asking, why am I blogging now/again?

Well, the surprising point I was going to make is that the individual voice is the point. We would be nowhere without people speaking up for themselves or for those that depend on them. I felt like I could get somewhere by starting a blog like many other people have and talk about whatever I want.

And what will I be talking about? ........ Video games and Star Wars. Oh, yes.

What, you thought I was some kind of activist or something? Star Wars: The Force Unleashed II just got announced! I haven't got the time!
